Cremation Service Area
When choosing cremation services, Michigan law requires a licensed funeral home, operated by a licensed funeral director to provide certain services . The law does not allow the funeral home to operate their own crematory on site nor does it allow the crematory to work directly with the family. Michigan also does not license “cremation companies”. All providers of cremation services must be affiliated with a licensed funeral establishment.
