At Affordable Cremation, we’re committed to providing those we serve with prompt, caring, professional service. As required by Michigan law, we are licensed, professional funeral directors serving families throughout northern Michigan from our funeral home in Gaylord.

So, how are we different? Unlike many “traditional funeral homes” , everything we do is done with the knowledge that today’s families desire simpler services. Our facilities, our vehicles, the size of our staff all were carefully considered so that we may provide caring service without unnecessary operating expense that would have to be passed along to you. No other funeral home operates this way.
And, unlike the many “cremation companies” that are cropping up, we make sure you know who we are, where we are, exactly what our services will entail and what the cost will be. You are not well served by being promised $895 services only to be told later that several necessary, basic needed services were not included in that price. Our prices are always complete and carefully communicated to you with no hidden surprises.
We do not use “removal services” or “transport companies”. We will always come directly to you when you need us, in a timely manner and with the utmost respect and care for you and your loved one.
